Setting comparing configurations options

On this step you need to specify options for comparing configuration operation.

In the upper area select the configuration sections which you want to be compared:

• server information,
• server properties,
• global configuration settings,
• server principals,
• databases,
• databases principals,
• permissions.

In the lower section select databases which you want to compare. The following databases parameters (and principals) are compared:

• database properties,
• filegroups,
• files,
• application roles,
• roles,
• users.

Databases that are presented in the first specified configuration, but are not presented in the second one are painted blue.

Databases that are presented in the second specified configuration, but are not presented in the first one are painted green.

For your convenience the Select All and Clear Selection functions are implemented in the context menu of the databases list.

Check the All checkbox to perform a comparison of all databases in the list.
