Using Navigation bar


The Database Role Editor Navigation bar provides the number of panels that contain items which are necessary for the editing operation.

Pages

This group contains the list of Database Role Editor tabs which are clusters of properties that can be configured.

 

Object Actions

Apply apply changes

Refresh refresh the content of the active tab

 

Object

Server

This field displays the name of the server where the edited object resides.

 

Database

In this field you can find out the name of the database which role you are editing.

 

Object

This field displays the database role that is currently being edited. However, you can change the edited database role by using the drop-down list of roles or by clicking the arrow-left or arrow-right buttons.

 

Permissions

This group of options appears on setting permissions.

 

Select the database Securable Type from the drop-down list.

 

!CheckBox Granted or denied only

Check this option for displaying only granted permissions or those securables that have been set granted or denied.

 

!CheckBox Non-system objects only

Check this option for displaying only non-system objects in the list of securables.
